EXPRESSIONISM is a radical distortion of perspective to demonstrate the emotional effect of the world on the painter, and thereby evoke mood and ideas in the viewer. From 1990-1994, SPARHAWK designed and was commissioned to sculpt a memorial to slain police officers: The Officer and the Angel. During the wild political bog that is the inevitable nature of such enterprise, Sparhawk produced a group of 15 action paintings of Firemen and Police in bold rescues and historic cases. Which led to an invitation for a 4 month, one-woman show of her Law Enforcement Series at FBI Headquarters in New York City and the Quantico Academy of Virginia.
The Legend of Tommy O'Toole was the centerpiece.

She is competent in all mediums and works chiefly on canvas and linen with oil pigments; a sculptor in clay, stone, and wax, proficient in bronze patina (Salinas Rodeo cowboy); knowledgeable in welding.

for ABC, CBS, WOR & FOX; reporter for the NY Post;

Press Secretary and speech writer to Congresswoman Geraldine Ferraro in NY and DC. From Monterey

Produced a small local radio show expanding an audience of 50,000 to 6 million listenerson 3 continents.
